We honored the memory of George and Daniel Desvallières on August 3rd 2014. The village of Varengeville celebrated the hundred years anniversary of their soldiers’ departure to the front. George et Daniel were in Varengeville-sur-mer on a family holiday at the painter Ménard’s house when the World War I was declared.
After placing a spray of flowers in the cemetery, a mass was celebrated for the Desvallières family.
